I updated my website to accombdated: AHEMWRRR SITE
& ONe of the plenty entries I wrote but never found the space time to fit in:
I should recreate that drive-in theatre that used to be on the left going towards the high school on exit 22 where my father said he saw 2001: A Space Odyssey in '69. Or replace that terrible White House strip mall in Woodbury with the long-gone Wood theatre my father told me he saw I Married a Monster from Outer Space when he was little which scared the crap out of him. The AMC theatres in Deptford are clearly terrible (too good for Coen bros movies terrible) and the only drive-in left in the STATE is far away and probably gonna die soon. I wanna reconnect with how movies were meant to be experienced, not alone hunched over a blurry lcd. Seeing Zombieland at Delsea Drive-in with Derep and Paranormal Activity with tons of other people in Cherry Hill reminded me what films could be, more than just incredible on their own.

I'm really proud to own this dvd even if the creators are probably laughing their asses off at the fact the show's fans spend 15 bucks each on the crazy flimsy thing. The best part is the brief "fanmentary" where you actually get to hear thoughtful commentary on the show by fans during the more visual episodes. Stuff that's tough to find on the net and even tougher to find in rl. :/

birthday was pretty bad but tonight was great. 2 for 2 for going to shows alone and turning out better than most. 21+ balcony aided the outstandingness.
